Ah, Valentine’s Day: not only a time for romance with that special someone (our Merry’s Miracle tart would be perfect for that!), but a time for showing affection to everyone, like in grade school when you had to exchange Valentine’s cards with all your classmates. Everyone got in on the fun. This Valentine’s Day, Thoughtful House Center for Children is joining in the fun and channeling their serious message of children’s health into an event that’s fun for all.On Monday, February 14th, Thoughtful House is inviting the public to their annual Valentine’s Day Party from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is free and will feature treats and entertainment for the entire family. Kids can make their own Valentine’s cards or have fun in a photo booth, and even enjoy free treats and toys. If that doesn’t say love, we don’t know what does!
Thoughtful House is a non-profit organization that supports those affected by childhood developmental disorders, like Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome. They provide treatment and support for affected children and their families, lead research into childhood developmental disorders, and act as a source of information to best deal with these issues.
Organizers are requesting that those attending RSVP to ensure there’s plenty of treats and toys to go around.
